Mary and the executive team attended the Bravo Legacy Award dinner on May 2, and Mary proudly accepted the award on Gary’s behalf.
Direct Selling News said of the award that, “[It is] fitting that the first Legacy award honor Young for leading the way in the essential oils space, as well as for his empowerment of those in his company to pursue a passion for health and well-being. Through Young Living, both Gary and his wife, Mary, have been able to share his discoveries and knowledge with millions around the world and support those in need within the communities where they grow and source the company's oils."
Mary and the executive team also accepted an award for being named the 15th largest direct selling company in the world. This amazing accomplishment can be credited to the influential leadership of Gary, Mary, Young Living President Jared Turner, and the rest of the executive team. Together, the executive team and the rest of YL’s global leadership possess a laser focus on our purpose and are dedicated to serving people over profit. By upholding the vision to deliver essential oils to every home in the world, we are just scratching the surface of our limitless potential.
We are ecstatic to take the next step in bringing essential oils to every corner of the world: The China market is opening! This month Young Living opened retail sales with the Everyday Oil collection. We’re looking forward to September and the official launch of China with JoyMain, our company partner.

Nanoparticles are microscopic particles that are small enough that 100,000 nanoparticles could fit in the width of a human hair! They are so small that they can pass through cell membranes, enter the bloodstream, and reach the interior of the cell.
So far, few studies have been done on nanoparticle interactions within cells, but the fact that particles can enter the bloodstream and reach the interior of cells can be concerning. As nanoparticle-based formulations continue to enter into consumer health and beauty categories, it’s important to exercise caution until further studies are undertaken to prove the safety of these very unique materials.
